The Information Delivery Analyst guarantees daily activities of the Information Delivery team meet/exceed department requirements for both internal and external customers. Facilitates the delivery of operational reports to internal customers through various reporting platforms. Supports the education of internal customers on the current information and delivery methods available and provides end user training. Leads department process excellence initiative by ensuring team shared document library is kept current with updated work flow job aids and the progress of Reports, Projects, RTS, and Data calls. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.


  • Support team’s reporting activities through timely resolution of adhoc report requests. Through the use of data reporting technology (Excel, Cognos, SQL etc.) creates, updates, and distributes recurring reports. Assures the timely and accurate delivery of all operational reports to both internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for managing the prioritization and accurate completion of all work requests - Data calls, Maps, Dashboards and other work requests.
  • Responsible for the education of internal customers on the current information available as well as the execution of end user system training. 
  • Supports BI Help Desk by resolving customer inquiries for navigation support, and user/system error resolution experienced when using customer facing information delivery platforms.
  • Pro-actively identifies and makes recommendations on ways to enhance and/or improve information delivery and reporting processes. Takes lead role in the elimination of inefficient/ineffective procedures and use of resources.
  • Transfers business needs into detailed business requirements and develops formalized test plans for reports. Presents results to management and participates in decisions made in response to analysis.
  • Responsible for the on-boarding of new team members; cross training current team members on updated processes and new department initiatives.
  • Reviews and updates internal/external customer reporting job aids and processes to ensure the accuracy of department procedures. Keeps updated documentation on team shared site.
  • Develops and maintains subject matter expertise for all Business Intelligence reporting platforms and delivery methods including but not limited to advanced functionality and content.


  • Proficient use of Excel, Access, Cognos, or other software to analyze and interpret data.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Customer service, networking, and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to interface with all levels including senior management.
  • General insurance industry knowledge.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Preferred 3-5 years of insurance industry experience in Underwriting, Claims, Loss Control, or other insurance-related discipline.
  • Preferred 3-5 years of analytical and problem-solving experience.
  • Preferred 3-5 years of customer focused business experience – end user training, meeting facilitation, time driven deliverables.
